Requirements

XDBCMS is known to run on Windows or Linux web servers running PHP/Mysql/Apache.

Hardware:

• Anything that will run the software below, e.g. p90, 32Mb ram, 1Gb hard disk to hold the linux installation - but this doesn't mean you'll get a fast response.
  

Software:
In order to run XDBCMS you need the following:

• MySQL (version 4 or above)
• A webserver running PHP (version 4 or above)
• Users using web browsers:
• Internet explorer V5 or above
• Mozilla or Mozilla firefox
• Other browsers will work, however, the WYSIWYG editor will only allow editing of raw HTML
  

Known working configuratations:

• Apache 1 or 2, php 4, MySQL 4 - such as SuSE 8.X, 9.X
• Windows - XDBCMS has been successfully installed and run using a package called 'firepages' (www.firepages.au) - which is a single installation program which installs apache, mysql and php.
